This is a die trial, in white metal, of the 1867 Liberty obverse with star on the coronet used on J570-J571/P638-P641 that is lacking the date and dentilation. This was originally believed to be the same as JA1867-18/P3335 but that piece has dentilation. We have assigned this new discovery as P3334. It is believed unique and was part of the materials purchased by the Library Company of Philadelphia from Maxwell Whiteman. It is listed as inventory #9.
